It’s 2:40 AM. Taking a break from studying for Bio 37 and 38…two midterms on Wednesday! Too much information…my brain can’t handle. I’m hungry.

Thanks for always taking care of me, for opening up your apartment for me to study, crash, and play in, for always giving me rides to school and back home, for giving me advice and encouraging me, for being such blessings in my life.

Thanks for everything, Beat, Dez, Jess, Kirs, and Rach. I love you all, thanks for making my first year of college so great :).

College Blessing #3 - AACF Brother’s Appreciation

Despite the craziness and bad timing (I had two midterms that week), it was all worth it. Definitely a highlight of my week and a blessing to love on these brothers.

College Blessing #2

Thankful for weekends at Mirkwood. Where there is no studying involved, just fun, fun, fun. :)

I’m a little late on this…a summer and 2.5 quarters. BUT! Better late than never right?

Starting this week, I will be posting college blessings. I find that it’s so easy for me to get caught up in the midst of playing, grades, work, friends, family, and school. It’s so hard for me to stop and think about the things I have been blessed with and to find joy in these things—friends, Mirkwood, UCI, family, J, AACF, the cross. Hopefully this will be…

a reminder for me to be joyful and thankful in every aspect of my life.

a reminder to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving and praise.

a reminder of His faithfulness and His righteousness.

a reminder of His grace and unconditional, everlasting love for me.

a reminder to praise Him and to rejoice no matter the situation.

a reminder of the gracious gift of salvation that I have.

a reminder of the cross and the Resurrection.

So with that said, wish me luck! :)

I will also praise you with the harp
